Independent third-party field repair Written estimates Customer-approved work

Who ACEWORX is and is not

  • Independent provider. ACEWORX LLC is an independent third-party repair company — not a dealer, manufacturer, or OEM-authorized service center.
  • Your equipment, your sites. We service customer-owned equipment at approved field locations within our service area.
  • Repair only. We do not sell, rent, broker, or finance equipment. Our business is inspection, maintenance, and repair.
  • Subject to review. Equipment and service availability depend on inspection, location, parts availability, technician capacity, and written approval.

What we do

Field Repair Services, In Detail

Every service below is performed on-site by dispatched technicians, documented in writing, and billed only after your approval. Select a service to see exactly what it covers, what we need from you, and how it is priced.

Mobile Diagnostics & Troubleshooting

On-site inspection, fault isolation, and a documented repair recommendation.

What it covers

  • Visual and operational inspection of the equipment and reported symptoms
  • Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault isolation
  • Scan-tool and test-equipment measurements where applicable to the machine
  • A written summary of findings and a documented repair recommendation

Common symptoms & use cases

  • Machine will not start, stalls, or loses power under load
  • Warning lights, fault codes, or abnormal gauge readings
  • Unusual noise, vibration, heat, smoke, or fluid loss
  • Slow, weak, or erratic hydraulic or drive response

What you provide

  • Make, model, year, and (if available) serial number
  • A clear description of symptoms and when they occur
  • Safe, legal access to the equipment at the service location
  • An authorized decision-maker reachable during the visit

Limitations

  • A diagnostic visit identifies probable causes; it does not guarantee that every hidden or intermittent condition will be found during the initial visit
  • Teardown beyond the approved diagnostic scope is quoted separately before work continues

Pricing basis: Flat mobile diagnostic / service-call fee within the standard service zone; additional diagnostic time billed at the hourly labor rate after customer approval.

Preventive Maintenance

Scheduled service that protects uptime and resale value.

What it covers

  • Scheduled inspections and fluid and filter service appropriate to the approved equipment
  • Lubrication of pins, bushings, and grease points
  • Belt, hose, battery, and undercarriage condition checks
  • Adjustment items and a written condition report with recommendations

Common use cases

  • Equipment due or overdue for interval service
  • Fleet or project requirements for documented maintenance
  • New-to-you machine that needs a baseline condition assessment

What you provide

  • Equipment list with makes, models, and hour readings
  • Any maintenance history or interval schedule available
  • Site access and a safe, level work area

Limitations

  • Maintenance is performed to the agreed scope; ACEWORX does not represent that a given program satisfies a manufacturer warranty unless the specific program documentation supports it

Pricing basis: Quoted per machine from the published starting price, based on equipment type, service interval, and fluids/filters required. Parts and fluids are itemized on the invoice.

Hydraulic Diagnosis & Repair

Leak, pressure, and performance problems diagnosed and repaired in the field.

What it covers

  • Leak identification and pressure testing
  • Hose and fitting replacement
  • Cylinder resealing and replacement where field conditions permit
  • Pump, valve, and related component diagnosis and replacement within capability

Common symptoms

  • Visible leaks, dropping fluid levels, or overheating hydraulics
  • Weak, slow, jerky, or drifting cylinders and attachments
  • Noisy pump, cavitation, or loss of hydraulic power

What you provide

  • Machine specifications and any known component history
  • Approval for fluid handling and disposal where required
  • A work area where the machine can be safely de-energized

Limitations

  • Contamination, internal component damage, and parts availability can change scope and price; findings are communicated for approval before additional work proceeds
  • Component machining and full pump/valve rebuilds beyond field capability are quoted through appropriate rebuild channels

Pricing basis: Diagnostic fee plus hourly labor; component repairs quoted in writing after diagnosis. Hoses, seals, fittings, and fluids itemized.

Electrical Diagnosis & Repair

Starting, charging, wiring, and control-circuit problems traced to the source.

What it covers

  • Battery, starting, and charging system testing and replacement
  • Wiring, connector, switch, relay, and fuse diagnosis and repair
  • Sensor, lighting, and gauge circuit diagnosis

What you provide

  • Machine information and any fault codes already observed
  • Keys and access to cabs, panels, and battery compartments

Limitations

  • Electronic control module programming, flashing, and dealer-locked software functions are not offered unless specifically confirmed in writing for the machine in question

Pricing basis: Diagnostic fee plus hourly labor; parts itemized. Intermittent faults may require additional approved diagnostic time.

Engine Diagnosis & Repair

Starting, performance, cooling, and fuel-system repair at your site.

What it covers

  • Hard-start, no-start, and performance diagnosis
  • Cooling system diagnosis, leak repair, and component replacement
  • Fuel system diagnosis, filter and component service
  • Lubrication system concerns and mechanical assessments within field capability

Common symptoms

  • Hard starting, smoke, power loss, or rough running
  • Overheating, coolant loss, or oil pressure warnings
  • Fuel quality issues, contamination, or filter plugging

What you provide

  • Service history if available and current hour reading
  • Fuel and fluid quality information where relevant

Limitations

  • Ordinary field repair is distinct from complete engine rebuild or replacement; rebuild-level work is assessed and quoted separately and may require transport to an appropriate facility arranged by the customer

Pricing basis: Diagnostic fee plus hourly labor; major repairs quoted in writing after diagnosis with parts itemized.

Mobile Welding & Repair Fabrication

Repair welding and limited field fabrication tied to equipment repair.

What it covers

  • Repair welding of cracked or damaged equipment components
  • Buildup and reinforcement of wear areas on buckets, booms, and attachments

  • Worn bucket edges, loose pin bores, or failing repair welds

What you provide

  • Safe access with adequate clearance and ventilation
  • Confirmation that hot work is permitted at the site, including any permit the site requires

Limitations

  • Structural engineering, code-certified structural welding, and construction contracting are not offered; welding is limited to equipment repair applications
  • Work may be declined where materials, contamination, or site conditions make a sound repair impractical

Pricing basis: Hourly welding labor plus consumables and materials; larger repairs quoted in writing after inspection.

Undercarriage & Track Service

Inspection, track removal and installation, and undercarriage components.

What it covers

  • Undercarriage inspection and wear measurement
  • Removal and installation of approved rubber or steel tracks
  • Roller, idler, sprocket, and track-adjuster service where field conditions permit

Common symptoms

What you provide

  • Stable, level ground and safe access for lifting and blocking
  • Machine specifications, track size, and (if available) serial number so the correct parts arrive

Limitations

  • Track removal and installation depends on equipment condition, site conditions, and safe lifting points; unsafe sites are rescheduled
  • Tracks and undercarriage parts may be special-order items subject to the special-order terms in the Cancellation & Refund Policy

Pricing basis: Labor from the published starting price per machine, based on machine size and track type, plus parts. A written quote is provided before work is scheduled.

Commercial Fleet & Vehicle Support

Secondary service line supporting commercial and fleet vehicles.

What it covers

  • Diagnostics and repair support for commercial trucks and fleet vehicles operated by business customers
  • Preventive maintenance programs coordinated with fleet schedules
  • Batteries, charging, cooling, and general mechanical repair within field capability

Common use cases

  • Fleet units down at a yard, warehouse, or job site
  • Scheduled maintenance needed where the vehicles are parked

What you provide

  • Fleet list with vehicle identification and symptoms
  • Authorization from the business owner or fleet manager

Limitations

  • This is a secondary service line for commercial and fleet customers; ACEWORX's principal activity is commercial and industrial machinery and heavy-equipment repair
  • State-inspection, emissions-certification, and body/collision work are not offered

Pricing basis: Diagnostic fee plus hourly labor; fleet program pricing quoted in writing based on unit count and scope.

Ask About Your Equipment

How service works

A Transparent Five-Step Process

From first request to final invoice, you always know what stage you are in, what has been approved, and what it costs. A booking request is not a confirmed appointment, and an estimate is not an invoice — each step is explicit.

  1. Submit a service request

Tell us who you are, what the equipment is, where it is, what symptoms you see, and your preferred time window.

  2. We review your request

ACEWORX reviews the scope of work, service area, parts considerations, and technician availability. A request is not yet an appointment.

  3. We confirm your visit and disclose charges

We contact you to confirm the visit window and disclose the applicable diagnostic, dispatch, travel, or minimum-labor charges before anything is scheduled.

  4. Diagnosis and your approval

A technician inspects and diagnoses the equipment. Any work beyond the original authorization is estimated in writing and proceeds only with your documented approval.

  5. Completion, invoice, and records

We complete the authorized work and provide an itemized invoice and service record for your files, including parts and labor detail.

Key terms, in plain English: an estimate is our written price proposal; a booking request is your submitted preference; a confirmed appointment exists only after we confirm it with you; a work authorization is your documented approval to perform specific work; a final invoice itemizes what was actually performed and is what you pay.

Pricing & payment transparency

Clear Rates. No Surprise Billing.

These are our standard published rates. Displayed prices are a pricing basis, not a final estimate — make, model, condition, location, access, parts, and scope can change the total, and you receive a written estimate before repair work proceeds. We never begin billable work without your approval.

Service Call & Labor

Service call and labor rates
Mobile diagnostic / service-call fee$165
Standard technician labor$145 / hour
Second technician (when a job requires two)$95 / hour
Minimum on-site labor1 hour
Mobile welding labor$175 / hour
After-hours / emergency rateNot offered

The service-call fee covers technician dispatch within the standard 25-mile service zone and up to the first hour of on-site diagnostic time. Labor beyond the first hour is billed in half-hour increments, with a one-hour on-site minimum once repair work begins. A second technician is added only when the written estimate calls for a two-technician crew (heavy components, track work, safety watch for hot work).

Travel

Travel charges
Included travel zone25 road miles of our Miami address (ZIP 33126)
Travel beyond included zone$2.50 / mile, each way
Fuel surchargeNone within the included zone

Travel beyond the included zone is quoted to you before your visit is confirmed — never added silently afterward.

How billing works

Parts & materials
Parts and materials are itemized on the invoice at ACEWORX's then-current price, which generally reflects supplier list pricing and may include a reasonable handling margin over ACEWORX's cost. Core charges are shown separately and credited when the core is returned. Special-order parts may require an advance deposit.
Shop supplies & environmental
When shop supplies are used, a shop-supplies charge of 5% of labor (capped at $45 per job) appears as its own line item — never hidden in other charges. Fluid-disposal fees, where disposal is required, are passed through at cost.
Taxes
Applicable Florida sales tax is added to taxable charges as required by law and shown on the invoice.
Estimate validity
Written estimates are valid for 14 days unless the estimate states otherwise.
Additional work approval
Work beyond the approved estimate or work order proceeds only after documented customer approval (signed, electronic, or written/text confirmation retained with the job record).
When you pay
Payment is due upon completion of authorized work, on receipt of the invoice. Net-15 terms (net-30 for qualifying fleet accounts) are available to approved commercial accounts in writing. Balances more than 15 days past due may accrue a late charge of 1.5% per month, or the maximum rate permitted by Florida law if less. No deposit is required for standard diagnostic visits; special-order parts may require a deposit of up to 100% of the parts price, and repairs expected to exceed $2,500 may require a deposit of up to 50% before parts are ordered.
Accepted payment methods
Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), ACH / bank transfer, and business checks for approved commercial accounts.
Cancellation & no-access charges
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled arrival window at no charge. After a technician has been dispatched, or if the site or equipment is not accessible on arrival, the mobile diagnostic / service-call fee applies. Full details are in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Card statement descriptor
Card charges are billed by ACEWORX LLC. The exact card-statement descriptor will be published here once it is confirmed and configured with our payment processor. If you do not recognize a charge, contact us before disputing it — we resolve billing questions quickly.
No online payment on this site
This website does not collect or store card numbers or other payment credentials, and submitting a booking request never charges you. Payment is handled on the invoice after service, through our payment processor.

Who we are

About ACEWORX

ACEWORX LLC is a Miami-based independent third-party mobile repair and maintenance service provider specializing in customer-owned commercial and industrial machinery, construction and heavy equipment, fleet and commercial vehicles, and related mechanical systems. ACEWORX dispatches technicians to approved customer job sites within its service area to inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment.

Services may include mobile diagnostics, preventive maintenance, hydraulic-system diagnosis and repair, electrical-system diagnosis and repair, engine diagnosis and repair, mobile welding and repair fabrication, undercarriage service, and track removal and installation. ACEWORX is an independent service company and is not a machinery manufacturer, equipment dealer, rental company, finance company, broker, or original-equipment manufacturer unless a specific written disclosure states otherwise.

Work is performed pursuant to a written estimate, work order, service authorization, or other customer approval and is invoiced based on applicable service-call or travel charges, technician labor, parts, shop supplies, materials, taxes, and customer-approved additional work.

The independent model, in practice

  • Field-service clarity. You know before the visit what the service call costs, what is included, and what happens next.
  • Written authorization. No work beyond the approved scope is performed or billed without your documented approval.
  • Accountable documentation. Every job produces a written record: findings, estimate, authorization, and an itemized invoice.

Straight answers

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of equipment do you service?

We service customer-owned commercial and industrial machinery and heavy equipment — including excavators and mini-excavators, skid steers and compact track loaders, wheel loaders and backhoes, forklifts and telehandlers — plus commercial trucks and fleet vehicles for business customers as a secondary service line. Acceptance of a specific machine depends on make, model, year, condition, location, and the work requested, so send us your equipment details and we will confirm.

Where do you provide mobile service?

We are a mobile field-service company based in Miami, Florida. Our standard service zone covers Miami-Dade County within about 25 road miles of our business address, and nearby areas may be served by arrangement with quoted travel charges. We come to your job site, yard, warehouse, or facility — visits to our business address are by confirmed appointment only.

Is my online booking automatically confirmed?

No. Submitting the booking form creates a service request, not a confirmed appointment. We review the scope, location, and technician availability, then contact you to confirm the visit and disclose the applicable diagnostic, dispatch, travel, or minimum-labor charges before anything is scheduled.

What does the mobile diagnostic / service-call fee cover?

The fee covers dispatching a technician to your site within our standard service zone and the initial on-site diagnostic time described in our pricing section. It is disclosed and approved before your visit is confirmed. If you approve the recommended repair, diagnostic findings carry directly into the written estimate for that work.

How do estimates and approval for additional work function?

After diagnosis you receive a written estimate describing the recommended work, labor, and parts. Estimates are valid for 14 days. Work beyond the approved estimate proceeds only after your documented approval — signed, electronic, or written confirmation kept with the job record. We do not perform and bill unapproved work.

How are parts handled? What about special orders?

Parts and materials are itemized on your estimate and invoice. Some components — such as tracks, cylinders, and machine-specific parts — are special-order items that may require a deposit before ordering and may be non-returnable once ordered, as described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Where a manufacturer parts warranty exists, we will reasonably assist you in pursuing it.

What payment methods do you accept, and when am I charged?

We accept major credit and debit cards, ACH/bank transfer, and business checks for approved commercial accounts. Payment is due when authorized work is completed and invoiced, unless written net terms apply to your account. Deposits for special-order parts are collected before ordering. This website does not collect card numbers, and no charge is made just for submitting a booking request.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

You can cancel or reschedule at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival window. After a technician is dispatched, the service-call fee may apply, and the same fee applies if we arrive and cannot access the equipment. Refund requests are reviewed within about 5 business days and approved card refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. The full Cancellation & Refund Policy is linked in the footer.

Do you offer a warranty on repairs?

Completed repairs carry a workmanship warranty of 30 days or 50 operating hours, whichever occurs first, covering the specific work described on your invoice. Parts carry the manufacturer's or supplier's warranty when one is offered. Exclusions — such as pre-existing conditions, contamination, misuse, and declined repairs — are described in the Terms and Conditions.

Do you offer emergency or after-hours service?

Not at this time. Service visits are scheduled during our published business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Requests submitted outside business hours are reviewed the next business day.

Are you an authorized dealer or OEM service center?

No. ACEWORX LLC is an independent third-party repair company. We are not an equipment manufacturer, dealer, rental company, finance company, or authorized OEM service center, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any equipment brand unless a specific written disclosure says otherwise. We service customer-owned equipment on the customer's authorization.

What should I prepare before the technician arrives?

Please have the equipment accessible on stable, level ground with keys available, an authorized decision-maker reachable, any site-entry requirements arranged, and known hazards disclosed. Having the make, model, year, hour reading, and serial number ready — plus a description of the symptoms — helps us arrive with the right parts and finish faster.
